How Can Osteoarthritis Be Treated?

My doctor said I don t need 8k of D3, which my previous doctor prescribed. I have severe osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. I stopped taking D3 in May, and recently my pain in shoulders is harder to manage. It affects my sleep. My last level was about 70. I m 75 years old. I m thinking I should re-start the 8k IU of Vitamin D3. Might that relieve some of my pain. I m on no pain meds, but take Benicar and Amlodipine. Thanks. Steve Kuntz
