How Can Osteoarthritis Be Treated Apart From Taking Hydrocodone?

I have osteo arthritis bone on bone in both knees. Just got injections l a week for 5 weeks. I still cannot tell any difference. Pain and can hardly get up out of a chair or sit down. Hydrocodone is the only medicine for it which is for pain but it is not working. Is there any thing else I could take? I have diabetes and high blood pressure.
