How Can Neuropathy In The Hands And Fingers Be Treated?

I have neuroprothy in my hands fingers and toes. I do not have diabetis. I was told I have nerve damage in my lower legs. I have dry mouth, dry eyes, dry skin. I was also told a few years ago that I have connective tissue disease. My dentist suggested that I may have Sjrogren syndrome. I have inbalance issues but had my ears checked and the specialist found no problems there. Is the neurpothy conected to Sjrogens syndrome?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In your case I think that the neuropathy is related to diabetes.
There are several medications used to treat neuropathy like gabapentin.
They are prescribed so you should consult your doctor about this treatment.
You should also maintain under control diabetes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
I find this answer helpful
