How Can Muscle Ache In The Legs Be Treated?

I am on Crestor 5 m since 60 days and I am having serious muscle pain in my legs. When I need to get up from sitting on a chair, I am not able to standup immediately, I am losing balance at times and have to take little time to move and flex to walk. This is getting worst every day. Please advise.

hi mam/sir,crestor or rosuvastatin has got myalgia,increased CPK(creatine phospho kinase),rhabdomyolysis as its adverse effects.collectively it is statin induced myopathy.my sincere advise is to stop crestor and please go for CPK test in blood sample.if the CPK is raised >2 to 3 times the normal,you need to stop the drug and please report to the physician who had prescribed you the drug.for the time being please dont take anymore crestor.if you have any other problem to be addressed,kindly let me know.thank you.take care.bye.
