How Can Lymphadenitis Be Treated?

I have lymphadenitis in its later stages behind my ear, I ve been prescribed antibiotics which have run out two weeks ago and have been using warm compresses and most of the swelling has left, would a hydrocolloid bandage be beneficial and remove the left over pus inside and reduce swelling? Thank you

Hello,

As you have taken antibiotics and it has subsided a lot. I feel no need for it as the remaining part will subside in one week.

You can use it to localise the swelling but it will create a discolouration that will take time to heal. So let it heal naturally.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
