How Can Lice Infestation On The Head Be Treated?

My daughter brought home lice last summer. we went through all the usual stuff and finally got prescription medicine for it. it went away for awhile, but I am still have black, smeary, itchy specks from my hair. am not finding any sign of lice in beds or furniture. Totally puzzled on what to do!

You can apply permethrin lotion to scalp. If permethrin fails benzyl benzoate may be tried.
Fumigate your indoors and boil your clothes.
