How Can Knee Bruising With Soreness And Swelling Be Treated?
appox. 2 months ago I fell against a car ramp in my garage. I landed right smack in the middle of my knee. It was bruised a couple three days and then went away. Now I am having a little soreness and there is a spongy bag of something on top of my knee cap. There is no pain in the cap or the mechanics of the knee, just mild soreness in the tissue on top of the cap? It doesn t seem to be getting any better?
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think you are suffering from haematoma in front of knee. Hematoma generally absorbed in 2-3 weeks times. But as you said it is not getting better even after 2months. It may need aspiration by wide bore needle. Please consult local orthopedic surgeon for aspiration. To further investigate MRI of the region is advised . I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query .
