How Can Itching And Burning Sensation On The Skin Be Treated?

Hi , I am a 65 year old homeless man who contracted herpes 20 years ago. I have recently begun having outbreaks of what I think might be herpes related symptoms. The symptoms are fist sized on my inner thigh, which ooze a clear ,sticky liquid.I apply a compress to the area and try to get all the liquid out. It itches and burns..very uncomfortable. I live in a tent on a beach . I am wondering if I should be washing all my bedding. I take at least 2 showers a day.I have a very good diet and am not stressed most of the time ..What do you think ? Any suggestions ?
