How Can Irregular Periods Due To Low TSH Levels Be Treated?
Hello I am newly married and I have low TSH level of 0.01 and taking thyronorm 12.5mg for last one month.I am having irregular period and had my last period at Jan22(two months delayed).Still now no period and consulted with another doctor and they suggested to take T.Regestrone for 9 days.shall I take this tablet or take thyroxine assual and wait for another month for my period.I am worried of to get baby.plz advice to get my pregenent.
Hi, I think your TSH level is very low. You need to stop taking thyronorm. You can take regesterone for inducing periods if your pregnancy test is negative. If you have not done the test, do a urine pregnancy test at home. Consult an endocrinologist for your thyroid problem. This can be the reason of delayed periods.
