How Can Irregular Periods Be Treated?

I dont have pcod but have fibroids. My periods have become irregular nowadays due to 21mm endometrium. So doc has prescribed duoluton L tabs to regularise. My question is that does it becomes a habit of taking this tablets to get my periods always. Suppose if i stop this medicine can i get periods in future naturally?

Hi I think you should go for evaluation first. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done to find out the cause of irregular periods. Fibroids are generally not a cause of irregular periods alone. If anything is abnormal, it can be treated. Size of fibroid also affect the mode of treatment. You can take some hormonal treatment for that. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
