How Can Insomnia Be Treated While On Lipitor And Synthroid?

Had to stop taking Benicar for hbp 4 days ago due to an allergic reaction. I also take lipitor, synthroid and dulera . For 2 nights I ve been unable to fall asleep and I feel like I m breathing faster. IT seems worse when lying down. What should I do?

Judging from your description the source of the sleep issues is anxiety. If only for two days a benzodiazepine like lorazepam may be used for short term purpose. It shouldn't be used for more than 7-10 days though due to its potential for tolerance and dependence. If a question of more long term treatment then antidepressants are the more suitable choice.
