Hi,

Based on your description, it appears that your doctor has prescribed the medication which will help you to ovulate. If you follow the instructions as given by your doctor, there is a likely chance for ovum to get fertilized and you might conceive.

However, it is difficult to predict the chances as to you will get pregnant or not. There are many instances that person's with PCOD have conceived with assistance of medications and timely intercourse. Hence, be positive that it would happen to you too.

In case you do not conceive during this cycle, the process needs to be repeated for a few more cycles giving a chance for you to conceive.

If it doesn't happen by this process, you may need to consider other options like IUI or IVF.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
