How Can I Reduce Weight In Thyroid Problem?

My question is Actalin, I went to where i get my meds and asked the question, is it alright to take Actalin while on Levothyroxine, i was told it was okay as long as i don t take them at the same time. take one then other later on. on a empty stomach and drink lots of water. I had labs done and got the results: Tsh 3.20 ulU/ml ,reference 0.47-4.68. What my free T4 is i have no idea and I don t know if it was a full panel lad test. Even with watching my diet etc it seems my weight is still going up. I m not 280, 5 2 . I m very frustrated. I m type 2 diabetic doing well there, on the pen shot Victoza 1.8 mg a day, as well on warfin do to blood clot problem in the past. 4mg monday to thursday then 2 mgs friday. Losartan 25 mg daily. any thoughts on this.

Hematologist 's  Response
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You are suffering from hypothyroidism and you are taking levothyroxine for that. Your TSH is in normal limit but check your free T3 and free T4 level once. You can increase the dosage of levothyroxine slightly on higher side to keep your TSH in low normal range. Go for regular exercise and walking

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you very good health.
