General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Patients may often get symptoms that seem similar to glucose being low especially being long time after eating or eating very sweet things. It is recommended that you get food regularly (3 major meals a day and 1-2 snacks) to help with it and you should combine carbs with protein and fat in one meal as if you take carbs alone it might not be enough to keep you well during the rest of the hours.

If symptoms go on even though you do take care to eat regularly then it may be due to vagal reflex, that happens when you stand for long times, in this case, try to be active and if you need to stand make sure you move your feet and do small walks to help the blood circulate from the leg veins to the rest of the body. If you still feeling unwell, try to sit to avoid worsening and falls.

If you still go on with symptoms or have any worsening, a visit with your doctor and some tests might be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
