How Can Hip Displacement Be Managed After A Hip Replacement Surgery?

I had hip replacement surgery by Dr Port located in Mesquite to on August 7, 2017. I went back to him yesterday to discuss why my hip still slips when I bend down.He told me to keep doing my exercises and then dismissed me and told me if I had any more questions to give him a call. I told him I had a few friends who had the same surgery and their hips do no slip at all.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Ideally there should not be any displacement or movement problems after hip replacement surgery.

I recommend to take an X-ray of the operated part and consult another orthopedic surgeon for bias free opinion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
