How Can High Fever And Cough In A Toddler Be Treated?

My son is 4.5 year old. He was coughing all night 3 day before, morning he has a fever 102.1 I have given cage 98 the fever slowly come down but at in evening it goes to 104 we started sponging with normal water then cold water visited doctor,he prescribed clamp forte and cage-98. In the morning still he has 101.5 fever, 3 times 6 ml of clamp forte I have given. And again visited to the doctor, he has prescribed one more antibiotics azithral200 once in a day. Salbutamol and nebulization with asthalin. Also said to show chest x-ray in the evening. Please suggest what I can do best in this situation. Thanks.

hi mam/sir,i can understand your apprehension.the above mentioned symptoms seem to be of a respiratory infection especially the lower respiratory tract.its better to have the chest x ray done as directed by the physician.please dont worry as respiratory infections are common in toddlers and very much treatable without any residual consequences.take care.if u can upload the x ray image,i can advise you further.bye.
