How Can Hepatitis C Along With Heart Failure Be Treated?

My husband has been diagnosed with hep C from his alcoholic drinking, he s no longer drinking, developed heart failure, his dr has been trying to get the harvoni treatment for him ,but so far they wont saying he s not sick enough, what can we do,please don t publish my name. Thank you

I would like to tell you that Hep C harbor abnormal fat and calcium inside the arteries and can cause heart disease. Now in your case , treatment for both hep C and heart failure should be done under supervision.

Harvoni is a good choice of drug for hep C treatment with no cardiac hampering. Kindly consult personally with a cardiologist and a hepatologist for further management.
