How Can Groin Area Pain Due To Walking Be Treated?

I get on and off pain in the groin area, when I walk. This has been going on for a long time. It gets to the point where it is difficult to walk. Then it will stop. It feels better if I stand on my tip toes. I'm a Woman that really has had no medical issues. My job requires me to stand for 10 hours each day. I walk in an OR. We do a lot of lifting and bending. It comes and goes. I do not have it all the time. I can go for weeks with out having the pain, then all of a sudden I will get it. Thank You!!!
