How Can Gluten Intolerance And Flatulence Be Treated?

Hi, Am 43 year old female Asian (Indian). I have always had dairy intolerance and gluten too. I have gas, flatulence. On other note i have severe hair loss so much so i have lost lot hair on my scalp and have to wear a hair piece to cover it. I have fibro myalgia, severe plantar fascitis. Lately my periods have been skipping a month. Am a vegetarian and low on iron and vitamin d. My Endoscopy and Colonoscopy came out ok. My blood test seems ok and thyroid is in the normal range. I also have psorasis on my right knee. It doesn t spread just in one area. Am 4 ft 11 inches and weigh 121lb.

Treatment of gluten intolerance lies in avoiding gluten containing food substances like wheat, rye, barley. You can have rice and rice products. You should take Iron supplements for your anemia. Your hair loss can be benefitted if you take Zinc supplements. Have a regular diet containing fresh fruits, seasonal vegetables and proteins. You also need regular aerobic exercise and good sleep hygiene. Many of your problems will lessen with some lifestyle changes. Your periods may be delayed because of stress. Notheless you must see an OBGYN if your periods are still delayed and rule out pregnancy and other causes of delayed menses. Yoga for stress management is also excellent.
