How Can Fungal Infection On The Toe Nail Be Treated?

I ve had a two toe nail fungus for ten years that I need treated. I have tried the antibiotic sulfamethoazole TMP and over the counter topicals. I have talked to my pharmacists and since our insurance has since changed to Optum RX United HealthCare they say a pharmaceutical fungus medicine will cost me 200.00 out of pocket for each month supply. Do you have any suggestions.

fungal in on toe Nails can be treated depending on severity.. sometime oral antifungal medicines are given.. but u have already taken them.. so u can apply antifungal Nail lacquer on nails.. these apply same way as nail polish apply.., avoid being barefoot in public places, wear socks to avoid moisture to reduce fungal growth, avoid artificial nail polishes.. apply antifungal spray or powder after washing toes with warm water and dry them, ointment creams are not very effective, cut nails with disinfectant clippers to avoid fungal spread
