How Can Fungal Infection In The Groin Area Be Treated?
I was diagnosed with a fungal infection of the groin - old school jock itch eight months ago. After numerous doctor visits I am becoming bewildered. The area continues to flare up after yard work or vigorous exercise (running) and intercourse. I have take numerous rounds of oral anti-fungal such as fluconazole and kept one of a couple of different topical antifungals on the effected area - clotrimazole has been the most effective. Regrettably the itching and occasional burning continues however it is greatly diminished. Please advise!
