How Can Fungal Infection In The Feet Be Treated?

i RECENTLY COMPLETED A ROUND OF ANTIFUNGAL MEDICATION FOR A FOOT FUNGUS THAT WAS MORE PERSISTENT THAN ATHLETE S FOOT. I CAN T REMEMBER THE NAME... IT STARTED WITH FLOU AND ENDED WITH SOMETHING LIKE A ZOL. IT WAS MUCH MORE BENIGN THAT LAMISOL. CAN YOU HELP ME REMEMBER?

Undoubtedly you are talking about Fluconazole, one of several anti fungal drugs available. Whereas lamisil i another type of anti fungal drugs. Both treatment are appropriate for the treatment of fungal infections, but they should be used only with doctor's advice!
Please note that fungal infections are sometimes hard to be eradicated and therefore maybe you will need to repeat the treatment, always in close consultation with your doctor!
