How Can Fluid Retention In The Gallbladder Be Treated?

A recent MRI of the gallbladder showed that my gallbladder was filled with fluid. I had an attack where I was very nauseated for at least a day and haven t been able to eat regularly. Am losing weight. I was prescribed Dicyclomine 10 mg. Is this generally used for a gallbladder problem? It seems to be an irritable bowel medication. I have not started the RX as I am very leery about any medicines. I take Prilosec daily (20mg) and have taken it for years. My e-mail is YYYY@YYYY

Hello dear. Thank you for using Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. A fluid filled gallbladder is a gallbladder hydrops and treatment for it is only surgery , cholecystectomy either by laparotomy or laparoscopy. Best regards.
