General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Please give dosage as syrup Hatric 3 as 6 ml every 8 hourly. If fever still not treated and above 99, then you can add Mafenemic syrup 5 ml 12 hourly. If fever crosses 102, then apply cold sponging.

Viral usually subsides in 3 or 4 days. Do not worry, there should not be red spots on body and child should not be too lethargic or out of breath.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
