How Can Fever Be Treated?

My child has been suffering from fever from last 2days I took her to the doctor she had advised me to give p 250 as dosage of 10 ml according to the weight. But she had also recommended me to give meftal p 8ml if she has a high fever when she is taking the dose of meftal her fever is controlling but she advised me to give if she has a high fever. Now she has a fever of 101. 4 I had given p250 an hour back but the fever didn t control can I give meftal p now pls suggest me wt to do

Hi,

You can give Meftal in case of persistent fever. You can also try tepid sponging to reduce the body temperature.

If fever persists, better to consult your paediatrician and start on antibiotics.
