How Can Fever Be Treated In A Child?

My daughter having fever around 101 last night as per dr we gave her crocin 500mg after tht the fever was surpressed again since morning 5.30 am she has 101 fever can i reapeat the dose as now it 6.30 am pls suggest the exact gap between each dose of crocin 500mg

Considering your doctor prescribed you a dose of 500 i figure your daughter is between 10-15years old and with a weight of 30-40 kg. The action of paracetamol lasts for a period of 4 hours. Hence you can reach a maximum dose of 2000mg per day divided as 4 tablets, each 4-6 hours apart.

And yes you can give two doses at once but do not give another dose within a 6 hour period. Wait for 8 hours to repeat the dose.
