How Can Excessive Hair Loss Be Treated?

Hi! I am a woman who has experienced a greater than usual hair loss starting in 2015. I was reading about Keranique and wondering if it was for real. It has 2% Monoxidil in it which is not listed in your drug area. Also, one of my doctors suggested that it could be due to one of the drugs I am taking. The new one in 2015 was omeprazole 40mg 2xdaily. Any thoughts? Barbara

1stly omeprazole in long term should be avoided. It does more harm than good.
Hairloss can be due to a number reasons. It can be due to local problems in the scalp like infections or autoimmune. Or it can be due to systemic diseases.
Minoxidil generally helps in male pattern baldness. So pl get yourself evaluated by your physician before using minoxidil.
