Welcome Sir,
Let me kindly list the possible causes for your hair loss:
1)genetic, does it run in the family?
2)not enough protein in the diet (need about .8 gm/kg body weight)
3)inadequate biotin in diet (need 30 mcg per day from fish, soybeans, whole grains, egg yolks, organ meats)
4)
thyroid disorder (normal TSH is .3 - 2.5)
5)auto-immune disorder; doctor may check for
anti-nuclear antibody (ANA)
6)Low zinc (need 11 mg per day from red meat, oysters, fortified cereals, nuts, starchy beans)
7) a medical condition
8)
Essential fatty acid deficiency, usually your omega 3's DHA/EPA found mostly in fatty fish, tuna, algae or supplements including vegetarian.
With regards to possible deficiencies, check your diet to see if you are getting adequate nutrients, if not, either try to change your diet or take a
multivitamin. With regards to medical issues, you should see a physician and or a
dermatologist for a complete physical and lab work.
