How Can Erectile Dysfunction After An Injury Be Treated?

My son is 19 years old. He has never had a problem with maintaining an erection but he had a concussion about three weeks ago and is having some problems. He talks to me because I am a nurse and had a head injury myself. He has had numerous physicals with blood work and they have always been normal. He does not have multiple sexual partners and this is the second time this has happened in a row. He is very worried and I know it is embarrassing for him to talk to me about it but we have always tried to be open about these issues. Could it be the condom he is using?

Concussion issues are usually temporary. They clear up in hours to days and rarely a few weeks. It is likely to be psychological even if it is due to the concussion (which very often causes depression that is temporary). All the treatments are likely to work. there are anti-depression medications, there are medicines for erectile dysfunction. they each have about a 90% success rate.
