Hello,

Flu is common in infants. So no need to worry a lot. It is always better to improve the immunity in children rather than giving them medicines repeated. Medication will definitely cause some side effects. When medications are stop side effects (loose motions) will be relieved. You can continue sporolac. Use symptomatic medication and avoid antibiotics as much as possible. In severe cases, only antibiotic is advise. If symptoms continue, you can go for investigations:
1. Complete blood test
2. X-ray chest

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vamsi Krishna Chittmoju
