How Can Depression Along With Insomnia Be Treated?
Sir.My wife suffering in depression problem.age 40 years.suddenly her hearbeat up after Ecg there are no problem. Now she take panazep.25 tablet at bed time every day.Nowadays her mood is flucktuate everyday. And not sleep at night in deep. How can I solve it.
Hi, Paroxetine is a SSRI antidepressant. It takes around 2-3 weeks for these type of drugs to show effect in depression. Apart from medications, counselling also plays an important role in tackling the issue. If your wife is experiencing the above symptoms beyond 4 weeks of treatment initiation, I would suggest alternative antidepressants like mirtazapine that can help in insomnia. You can discuss the above information with your psychiatrist. Hope it helps. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic.
