How Can Cylindrical Power Be Reduced?
My kid is 3 1/2 years old. He was premature by 1 month.recently on a reqgular eye checkup doctor has told that both his eyes have cylindrical power with - 3/-4.5. He has suggested to wear glasses. We dont have any family history of spectacles how come my son has got this at an very early age ? is there a chance for the power to reduce? What type of foods should we give ?

He has to were glasses. There is no cure for it. You can have review every year Family history is always not relevant.In your case history of prematurity is there Food has no role in defect. Only hope is premature development which may compassionatewith growing age
