Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, the child must be given home remedies to cure it at faster pace with current medications as

- Keeping the room temperature at its best, avoidance of air conditioner or cooler air.
- Keeping humidifier as and when required.
- Hygiene care of face.
- Hydration maintenance with proper feeding.
- Watch for signs of fever, breathlessness if any.
- Tulsi and honey as herbal healers after discussion with his pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
