How Can Completion Of A Miscarriage Be Confirmed?

I had not been to a doctor and I was thought to be around 6,7 months pregnant. Had no symptoms such as morning sickness, tender breast, etc and I probably just had a miscarriage. Had some bleeding which was a small little portion every minute or so and then a blood clot came out in which the bleeding stopped after that. I have/had no pain, cramps of any sort either. I feel fine right now. What do I need to do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You can consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound to check whether the uterus is empty or not. You can also go for beta-hCG testing. If the abortion is incomplete the hCG values will be very high.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
