Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your child mostly having viral respiratory tract infection as per history

In child viral infection is most common cause leading bronchitis or bronchiolitis like infection...

Your child physical examination has to be done first by Auscultation..

If rhonchi heard than bronchodilator nebulization might needed as in bronchiolitis

The syrup you are telling is decongestant syrup that can be given after doc prescription

If you are living in high cold temperature than room heater can be used..

Take care

Consult pediatrician for examination and further subsequent treatment
