How Can Candidiasis Be Treated?

My sister, who lives very far from me, so I can t tell you a lot about her condition, tells me that she thinks she has Candida. My question is, is there any medications she can take to help rid her body of the yeast? I ve done a lot of research and found lists of food she shouldn t eat and one s she should. Based on my research, she has a very poor diet and eats all the things she shouldn t. She has had a life-time struggle with gut issues. She is get an injection, every 28 days, for her mood disorder. I can t find any information if these things worsen her gut issues.

Hello,

Candida is a common yeast infection that can be treated with oral Fluconazole once and local Clotrimazole two percent cream three times per day for one week. In the case of systemic Candida infection, Intravenous antifungal will require.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
