How Can Burning Sensation In The Vagina Caused By Doxycycline Hyclate Be Treated?
I was given doxy-cycline HYC 100 mg for a antibiotic for a nail that I stepped on. I have had a tetanus shot within the last couple of years. Well last night I went to be on fire in my vaginal area. I read the possible side effects and this was one that was listed. They wrote a script for Diflucan 1 tabet every 48 hours x 3. They want me to continue the antibiotic but I am scared too. I am still on fire and very uncomfortable. What should I do?

* Burning vagina is a very rare side effect of doxycycline and the same should be stopped to get out of the condition at earliest.
* Over and above the same, you have to consume plenty of liquids, apply aloe vera gel 3 times a day for best recovery.
