Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that considering your symptoms it is necessary to exclude possible pulmonary embolism or exacerbation of asthma.

For this reason, I would recommend going to the ER for a physical exam, a chest X-ray and an arterial blood gas analysis.

It is also necessary for checking D-dimmer levels and performing a pulmonary angio CT scan if necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
