How Can Breast Cancer Be Diagnosed?

My mum and Nan and almost every female ancestor has had breast or ovarian cancer and I want to know the chances of me being diagnosed. I plan on having children but don t want to pass the gene onto them. My mother died when I was very young and it worries me that I could also. Cancer is strong on both sides of my family too.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
You need o do genetic testing which is called BRCA gene mutation and K-ras tetsing. his will reveal your risk of breast and ovarian cancer and then you can plan further steps. These cancers are higly genetically determined so it is good that you are aware of this since these are very agressive tumors. even more important is to have frequent follow ups and ultrrasound to rule out initial tumor formation. These tests can be done only in higly specilized oncologic centres.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
