Hello doctor My daughter is 7weeks old and she had blocked nose it is now 3weeks. Two weeks ago i took her to pediatician he gave her drops for the nostrils it is on and of it doen not go away. Ladt friday she could not breath properly i took her to the hospital the doctor gave her medication to drink also antibiotic. Since last night till now she is crying because she cant breath normal. When the nose unblock it is getting dry and it is painful to her. Please help

Paracetamol syrup can be given for fever and pain. Steroid nasal sprays can be tried in resistant cases under the supervision of a pediatrician. If symptoms persist despite all these,an ENT consultation might be needed to rule out condition like nasal polyps,deviated nasal septum and turbinate hypertrophy. Hope I have answered your query.
