Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Liv 52 is an ayurvedic preparation for liver disease.
It is not appetite stimulant.
So better not to give Liv 52.
Cyproheptadine is well known appetite stimulant.
You should try giving this to your son for appetite.
It is also safe in children.
It is commonly available with brand names like aptivate, aptirich etc.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
