How Can Anxiety Related To Fear Of Heart Attack Be Treated?

After my fathers heart attack i became very upset and did online researches. Then going through those studies i start to feel those symptoms. I always remain scared and keep checking my heartbeat. I have done two ecgs and xrays which are normal but still i am scared. I think i lost my normal life. Please help me.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
You have develop panic attack that cause fear of heart attack.
I would suggest to consult psychiatric and undergo counselling and behavior therapy to rule out cause.
Drugs like
Lorazepam should be used to for short term management
If problem persists then antidepressant drugs like sertraline, paroxentine could be used.
Just be relax, do regular exercise and eat healthy diet
Be confident as you have not heart problem. (ECG is completely normal)
