Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I understand your concern. Some advice that I can give to you are:

- Apply an ice pack to a bite or sting for 15 to 20 minutes once an hour for the first 6 hours.
- Elevate the area of the bite or sting to decrease swelling.
- Try a nonprescription medicine for the relief of itching, redness, and swelling.
- If you don't get better take prescribed corticosteroids or go to the emergency room.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
