How Can An Infected Hair Follicle On A Surgical Scar Be Treated?

I had a knot on my c-section my obgyn said infected hair it did release a puss-blood and seem to go away , about a week ago I could feel what I assumed was a pocket of puss I relieved pressure by pressing toward my hip and been cleaning it 3times a day with alcohol now my navel is infected

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
This is obviously an abscess formed.
This is mostly caused by beta hemolytic streptoccocus and it necessitates antibiotic treatment with augmentin, or combination of ciprinol+ metronidazole. You should also, apply cold compresses, take nonsteroid painkillers such as ibuprofen 400mg and rest. If there is no improvement within 2 days, you should see doctor and have intravenous antibiotics.
