How Can An Incomplete Medical Abortion Be Managed?

Sir I took mifigest kit on last Sunday the big tablet after 48 hours I took 2 medium size tablet of mifigest and after 24 hours I took one tablet and and again after 24 hours I took 1 tablet , there was 5 tablet. Bleeding started after taking the tablet of 48 hours , I did pregnancy test today morning its still showing positive result. What should I do?

If gestational age is below 8 weeks, medical termination with tablets is possible.
In case of higher gestational age, medical termination may not be complete.
Sometimes even after completion of abortion, urine pregnancy test kit may show positive result till 2 weeks after abortion.
So, you better go for ultrasound once with your doctor's advice.
If there are no retained products in ultrasound, no need to worry. If any retained products of conception are there, minimal products can be dealt with tablets, if products are more you may need to undergo Dilation and evacuation.
