General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, you should consult otorhinolaryngology for Otoscopy ear examination and posterior pharynx examination with lymph node palpation.

Decongestant like Benadryl can be prescribed for that. Salt water gargle done with warm water three times a day. Suitable Antibiotic course can be prescribed for five days. Avoid excess spicy foods. If lymph node is enlarged, then FNAC investigation can be done for that. CBC investigation can also be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
