General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

An aneurym 5cm in size is fairly big. However, at age 92 there is always the possibility that a person will die with the aneurysm and not of it. Furthermore, abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery stresses the body immensely, and some, especially elderly persons, may die from complications to the surgery or anesthesia itself. At 90 lbs, it is important that you let her eat what she wants, preferably food with a high caloric content.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
