Hello,

Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. You have to get an ultrasound to look for any possible retained bits of tissue. If the period is delayed for long, you have to start on progestins to induce bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
