How Can Allergic Cough And Wheezing Be Treated?

I m having dust allergy from childhood. But it got worse recently. One of my friends suggested me to use Montek LC 10 mg for 10 days.So I was free from sneezing coughing and wheezing for 12-13 days. After that allergic issues started again. So I wish to continue the medicine for next 10 days. Please help me to understand whether it can cause any issues if I continue using the tablet.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.. I understand your concern.
Allergic bronchitis causes weezing.
Montaire is a histamine blocker drug..&can be safely taken in acute exaserbation or maintenence of allergic reaction.
Still basis of treatment should be to recognize &avoid allergens.
Since you are allergic to dust avoiding exposure to road dust, bed dust /smoke,/fumes by use of masks, regular cleaning of bed-pillow-blankets .
More allergies can be detected by allergy detection test... followed by desensatization test.
Thanks.
