How Can Allergic Cough And Chest Congestion Be Treated?

Hello Doctor , This is Rakshith . age : 30, i m facing a problem with dust allergic , which is blocking my lungs with THICK COUGH ( Green colour) with THROAT Hitching & Breathing problem. i have showed many doctors , which they provide me antibiotics TAB / Syrup , which will reduce my throat Hitching but Cough will be remain same for 1 or 2 months . so kindly help me out

hi, thanks for the query.
i think that u have a chest infection and u should get a sputum culture and sensitivty test as u are facing this problem from 2 months while on antibiotics, this test will tell which organism is causing it and which group of antibiotics will better cover it.
meanwhile avoid throat irritants like smoke,dust,avoid smoking if u are a smoker and lastly avoid cold drinks.
